Andersonville Prison

Went to Andersonville Prison, Camp Sumter this week.  Talked with the Rangers about volunteering here sometime.  The history here is just unreal.  Had to cut trip short due to winter storm Leon.

Some of the newer markers in the cemetery.  They still hold over 200 funerals a year here and their are now over 45000 graves of service person and there spouses.

This is all the men had to keep themselves sheltered from the elements.

Our room at a Best Western Hotel in Americus, GA.  Jimmy Carter is friends with the owner.  The hotel was built before the Civil War.
