A trip to Tybee Island.

Uncle Buddy got to take his first trip to the beach, Tybee Island.
The first time he saw the ocean.

Can I please go to the beach!

First ocean swim!

The water is so cold!!

Any beach at sunrise is beautiful, but even better when you are the only one on it!

John & Teresa with Uncle Buddy

Well, we have completed our first week at Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge in Georgia.   Only 6 visitors in the Contact Station, so Teresa worked on Programs and a Wayside sign content and I cleaned the outside of the Contact Station..
We are adding Uncle Buddy to our Blog, the Bison is the symbol of the National Parks and next year is the 100th Birthday of the Park Service.  So, anyone that knows us, know's we had to have a special Bison so we called ours Uncle Buddy.

Uncle Buddy went to visit the Farm.

Having a cool drink on the back porch.

Taking a nap in Mr Jimmy's bed.

Ready for a shower.

You can really see good going down the road in the Rig.

Thanksgiving Dinner at the farm.

Stuck in the Stocks at Andersonville.

Don't tell John, Teresa let me drive the rig.

Lots of neat stuff at the Carter store.

Visiting with his Ants for Thanksgiving.

Wayside signs contain lots of information.

Can believe a president sat at this same deck.

And now he is Cancer free!!!

What happens if this end catches on fire?

Little White House in Warm Springs

Only Three weeks left at Andersonville National Historic Site.

Went to the Little White House in Warm Springs last week, for the past month it has rained on all of our days off, but we still try to make the most of them.  It rained so hard while at Warm Spring, water came over the top of our shoes while walking the grounds.  The people of Warm Springs loved FDR the way the people in Plains love Jimmy Carter.  When FDR came to Warm Springs, life was very simple, another great man.
