Hello from Savannah. We are at Fort Pulaski NM on Cockspur Island. As normal, it started to rain after we got here. Our site overlooks the Savannah River where we can see HUGE ships pass us at a distance of 100 yards and across the river is South Carolina. Wildlife every place, we haven't began to be able to name all the birds we see here. Dolphins rolling a long the river. Steady breeze here in the park of about 10 mph. They gave us the week off after we arrived so we could checkout the area. Looks like we will both be able to dress in period clothing and take historic weapons training.
