Fall in Georgia

Well, one month left here at Chickamauga and it's the 150th for the Park at Lookout Mountain.  Spent some tine  in Atlanta this week, here are some pictures.

Moccasin Bend National Archaeological Area on the Tennessee River,
part of the Trail of Tears.

One of the many squirrels (Lizzie) that come to our site to drink, Teresa keeps fresh water for them.

The General Locomotive, from the great train chase during the Civil War.

Stone Mountain at Kennesaw Battlefield

Teresa really checking out that last picture.
This nice buck stopped when I whistled at him in front of our motor home.
John getting the Flu shot for old people.
Hornets nest just over the walking path going up Kennesaw Mt.
This guy (Arnold) was just cooling his tool on a mossy log.
Teresa has named all the squirrels, this one is Blackbeard, must have been eating walnuts.
Didn't think I'd see this in the mountains this time of year.
Teresa calls him Snoot, he jumped up one day and missed his landing and got a snoot full of water.  Very funny then and I didn't have a camera, but he won't jump up to drink anymore.

I've fallen and I can't get up.
